Sean "Diddy" Combs to Open Charter School in Harlem


Sean "P. Diddy" was super serious when he told us he wouldn't stop.

Coming this fall, the rap mogul and hip-hop icon will have a new addition to his long list of accomplishments.

Diddy announced that he is in partnership with Capital Preparatory Schools to open Capital Preparatory Harlem Charter School. The plans for the school have been in works for five years and the rap pioneer is ecstatic about the his latest venture.

"Creating this school is a dream come true for me," Diddy stated. "I want to impact the lives of young people in my community, and build future leaders. The first step is offering access to a quality education." I want to impact the lives of young people in my community, and build future leaders. According to a press release, the charter school has openings and is accepting applications for students in the sixth and seventh grades and will expand a grade each year until 700 students are fully enrolled in the school through grade 12.
