Sports: DeAndre Jordan, Mavericks reach agreement on max contract

DeAndre Jordan is chucking the deuces Hollywood and taking his talents to Dallas.

The Mavericks pulled out all the tricks when courting the rebounding machine. DeAndre received messages from Cowboys owner Jerry Jones and Cowboys star wide receiver Dez Bryant telling him that Dallas is in fact the best place for him.

According to ESPN, Jordan was sold on Dallas offering him a more pivotal role in the offense.

Jordan's deal is a four-year maximum contract worth in excess of $80 million that includes a player option after the third season to allow the highly coveted center to return to free agency in July 2018.
