The 34-year-old Frenchman may need season-ending surgery on his leg.
According to ESPN, Sources have told ESPN's Michael C. Wright that the Spurs veteran Point Guard may have a torn quadriceps tendon in wednesday nights 2nd-round victory over the James Harden Lead Houston Rockets.
Parker was unable to walk off the court and had to be assisted by teammates off the court. The injury prompted Head Coach Gregg Popovich who is normally known to be the opposite of Loquacious to comment by saying after the game:
"It's not good."
Thursday, Parker is expected to have an MRI on the leg and if it is in fact torn, this could mean that his season is over. Typically, it takes 10-12 for the injury to fully heal.
We're wishing Parker a speedy recovery.
